West Coast Region Vessel Monitoring Requirement in the Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery

This request is for a revision of a currently approved collection of information pursuant to final rule 0648-BM28. The collection is being revised to add new declaration codes on the Declaration Code Worksheet that correspond to new gear types being permitted in the Non-Trawl Rockfish Conservation Area (Non-Trawl RCA) for the limited entry fixed gear (LEFG) groundfish sector and vessels that gear switch under the Trawl Individual Fishing Quota (IFQ) program (i.e., IFQ gear switchers). No other changes are being proposed for the collection of information. A proposed rule published on August 30, 2023 (88 FR 59838) and was open for public comment through September 29, 2023. No public comments were received relevant to PRA.
