Abstract: Owners or operators who construct or reconstruct major sources of hazardous air pollutants must apply for a case-by-case con- trol determination under CAA section 122(g). State or local agencies will review applications submitted by sources, and de- termine the required of control. The EPA will review a percent- age of the determinations in order to provide oversight.
