Abstract: Under final rule RM03-8-000, FERC is revising its regulations to establish quarterly financial reporting for jurisdictional companies. The information contained in the quarterly financial reports will identify the economic effects of significant transctions and events, allow staff to evaluate the adequacy of existing cost-based rates, and aid in the development of needed changes to existing regulatory initiatives.
