Abstract: This regulation applies to each ammonium sulfate dryer within an ammonium sulfate manufacturing plant in the caprolactam, synthetic and coke oven by-product sectors of the ammonium sulfate manufacturing industry for which construction, modifi- cation or reconstruction commenced after November 12, 1980. Owners and operators must conduct an initial performances test, and monitor and record control device operating parameters and comply with a particulate emission standard.
