Abstract: This regulation applies to each ammonium sulfate dryer within an ammonium sulfate manufacturing plant in the caprolactam, synthe- tics, and coke oven by-products sectors of the ammonium sulfate manufacturing industry for which construction, modification, or reconstruction commenced after the date or proposal. Owners and operators must conduct an initial performance test, and monitor and record control device operating parameters, and comply with a particulate emission standard.
