Abstract: FERC-577 information is required by FERC to ensure compliance with regulations under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The data are used by FERC to examine the potential effects of a proposed interstate natural gas pipeline con- struction on soils, geology, land use, water and air. RM98-17 proposed rule adds landowner notification requirements.
