Abstract: NORTHEAST REGION PROPOSES TO CONSOLIDATE PERMIT REQUIREMENTS IN ONE REGULATION TO ENSURE CONSISTENCY, ELIMINATE REDUNDANCY, AND SIMPLIFY FUTURE PERMIT REVISIONS. PERMIT REQUIREMENTS ARE CURRENTLY ISSUED IN EIGHT SEPARATE REGULATORY PARTS. NO NEW REPORTING REQUIREMENTS ARE ADDED, THOUGH STANDARDIZATION, IN EFFECT, ADDS NEW REQUIREMENTS TO SOM PARTS.
