Abstract: SECTION 17(G) OF THE INVESTMENT COMPANY ACT OF 1940 AUTHORIZES THE COMMISSION TO REQUIRE THAT CERTAIN OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF REGISTERE MANAGEMENT COMPANIES BE BONDED BY INSURANCE COMPANIES AGAINST LARCENY AND EMBEZZLEMENT.
