Abstract: THE EXPERIMENTS ARE LABORATORY STUDIES OF THE COGNITIVE PROCESSES INVOLVED IN REPORTING CHRONIC PAIN EPIDSODES, LIFE HISTORY EVENTS, AND DIETARY INTAKE, AND T COGNITIVE PROCESSES INVOLVED IN RESPONSE ERRORS BY THE ELDERLY. THE RESULTS WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP IMPROVED QUESTIONING PROCEDURES FOR SEVERAL NCHS SURVEYS.
