Abstract: THIS SURVEY VERIFIES THE EXISTENCE OF SPECIAL DISTRICTS FOR THE 1987 CENSUS OF GOVERNMENTS. IT OBTAINS CURRENT ADDRESSES AND IDENTIFIES NEW DISTRICTS. WE SEND COMPUTER LISTINGS TO OFFICIALS IN EACH OF THE 3,000 COUNTIES. COUNTY OFFICIALS USE THE G-24 FORM TO UPDATE THE COMPUTER LISTINGS.
