Abstract: RULE 1(A), 17 CFR 250.1(A) AND FORM U5A IMPLEMENT SECTION 5(A) OF THE PUBLIC UTILITY HOLDING COMPANY ACT WHICH REQUIRES THE FILING OF A NOTIFICATION OF REGISTRATION WITH THE COMMISSION OF ANY HOLDING COMPAN OR ANY PERSON PROPOSING TO BECOME A HOLDING COMPANY. RULE 1(B) MAKES IT THE DUTY OF EVERY REGISTERED HOLDING COMPANY TO FILE WITH THE COMMISSION WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME AFTER REGISTRATION, A REGISTRATION STATEMENT THROUGH FORM U5B.
