Abstract: THE PROPOSED REGULATION PROVIDES RULES AND DEFINITIONS RELATING TO SEVERAL EXEMPTIONS FROM THE WINDFALL PROFIT TAX. IN ORDER TO OBTAIN AN EXEMPTION FROM WINDFALL PROFIT TAX WITHHOLDING, THE TAXPAYER MUST PROVIDE A PURCHASER OF OIL WITH AN EXEMTPION CERTIFICATE.
