Abstract: THE DATA COLLECTED WILL BE USED TO BUILD A MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR ESTIMATING THE TAX PAPERWORK BURDEN AND TO ESTIMATE THAT BURDEN FOR FY 84 AND ON A CONTINUING BASIS. THE MODEL WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE HOW CHANGES IN TAX REQUIREMENTS INCREASE OR DECREASE THE BURDEN OF COMPLYING. THE DATA WILL BE COLLECTED FROM INDIVIDUAL TAXPAYERS. BURDEN INFORMATION OBTAINED WILL BE USED TO COMPLY WITH OMB PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS AND TO REDUCE THE BURDEN OF TAX PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS.
