Abstract: THIS FORM IS A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACTUAL DOCUMENT WHICH OBLIGATES MANAGEMENT OF THE HOME OFFICE OF A COMMERCIAL CARRIER TO ABIDE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE INDUSTRIAL SECURITY MANUAL FOR SAFEGUARDING CLASSIFIED INFORMATION AND THE CARRIER SUPPLEMENT THERETO. THE REQUIREMENTS THEREBY IMPOSED ARE ESSENTIAL IN PRESERVING THE SECURITY OF THE UNITED STATES THROUGH THE PREVENTION OF IMPROPER DISCLOSURE OF CLASSIFIED INFORMATION.
