Abstract: PART OF THE 1982 CENSUS OF GOVERNMENTS. REQUESTS DATA ON STATE AND LOCLOCAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYMENT, EMPLOYER COSTS FOR SELECTED EMPLOYEE BENEFITS, AND LABOR-MANAGEMENT RELATIONS. RESULTS ARE USED BY FEDERAL STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMEN OFFICIALS AND AGENCIES, AS WELL AS BY PUBLIC INTEREST GROUPS, ACADEMIC INSTRUCTORS AND RESEARCHERS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
