Abstract: THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS STUDY IS TO ELICIT INFORMATION FROM CONSUMERS CONCERNING THEIR TIPPING PRACTICES IN SUCH A MANNER AND TO SUCH AN EXTENT AS TO PROVIDE A CREDIBLE DATA BASE TO ESTIMATE AMOUNTS OF TIPS EARNED BY SPECIFIED CATEGORIES OF EMPLOYEES. INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE BEST METHOD TO USE TO REDUCE PRESENT REVENUE LOSS IN THIS AREA.
