Abstract: RULE 15BA2-2, AS ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 24, 1975, PROVIDES THAT AN APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION WITH THE COMMISSION BY A NON-BANK MUNICIP SECURITIES DEALER WHOSE BUSINESS IS EXCLUSIVELY INTRASTATE MUST BE FIL ON FORM BD. THE INFORMATION REQUIRED TO BE DISCLOSED ON FORM BD IS NECESSARY FOR THE COMMISSION TO DETERMINE WHETHER REGISTRATION AS A BROKER OR DEALER SHOULD BE GRANTED AND TO FURNISH INFORMATION TO PUBLI INVESTORS.
