Abstract: FORM 10-Q ELICITS MATERIAL INFORMATION FROM ISSUERS OF PUBLICLY-TRADED SECURITIES AFTER THE END OF THE ISSUERS' FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD FISCA QUARTERS CONCERNING THEIR FINANCIAL CONDITION AND OPERATIONS IN ORDER THAT INVESTORS MAY MAKE INVESTMENT DECISIONS ON THE BASIS OF CURRENT INFOMATION. THE COMMISSION IS PROPOSING TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO THE FORM AND A NEW INSTRUCTION CONCERNING INTEGRATION OF FILINGS.
