The requirements implement sections 201 and 251 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, to provide for physical collocation on rate, terms, and conditions that are just, reasonable, and nondiscriminatory, and to promote deployment of advanced services without significantly degrading the performance of other services. All the requirements will be used by the Commission and competitive local exchange carriers (LECs) to facilitate the deployment of telecommunications services, including advanced services, and to implement sections 201 and 251 of the Act.
