Abstract: The application is needed to conduct future national competitions under the Talent Search (TS) Program. The TS Program provides grants to institutions of higher education, public and private agencies and organizations, community-based organizations with experience in serving disadvantaged youth, combinations of such institutions, agencies and organizations, and secondary schools to operate projects that serve qualified individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. This discretionary grant falls under the Streamlined Clearance Process for Discretionary Grant Information Collections, 1894-0001

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
