Abstract: The Census Household Panel will recruit a probability-based nationwide nationally-representative survey panel to test the methods to collect data on a variety of topics of interest, and for conducting experimentation on alternative question wording and methodological approaches. The goal of the Census Household Panel is to ensure availability of frequent data collection for nationwide estimates on a variety of topics and a variety of subgroups of the population. While programming the baseline instrument, we noticed some cosmetic fill and flow issues that needed to be fixed. We also realized we needed to include a question on the relationship between household members and the survey respondent and an address confirmation question. We have also made minor changes to the CBAMS (Census Barriers, Attitudes, and Motivators Survey) questionnaire resulting from cognitive testing. In addition to content changes, we have added language for email and text invitations and reminders for CBAMS (Attachment 1) and other topical operations (Attachment 2).
