Abstract: This is a request for revision and extension of the OMB Control No. 0648-0605. This renewal request makes the following changes: ● Removal of VMS activation confirmation responses, time and costs, and cost of purchase, maintenance and automated polling, which was transferred to 0648-0202; ● Addition of electronic monitoring program requirements; ● Addition of new NAFO reporting requirement; ● Removal of Closed Area I Hook Gear Haddock Special Access Program (SAP) from SAP cost estimates because this SAP was removed; and ● Changes the name of this collection from “Amendment 16 to the Northeast Multispecies Fishery Management Plan” to “Northeast Multispecies Reporting Requirements”. These collections are necessary to carry out the requirements of the groundfish fishery as specified by the Northeast (NE) Multispecies Fishery Management Plan (FMP).
