Short Statement: The number of hours has increased from 6,342 to 7,264 for a total increase of 922 hours. This program sees a high number of repeat applicants and awardees. The program has undergone recent changes to ensure applicants are applying in accordance with the guidelines of 7 CFR 4284.10 regarding duplication of services. Program applicants are providing more detail in their applications to address this requirement.
