Abstract: VA Forms 21P-8938 and 21P-8938-1 (formerly VA Forms 21-8938 and 21-8938-1) are used to verify that a surviving child who is receiving REPS benefits based on schoolchild status is eligible for continued benefits. Without this information benefits would not be properly paid and substantial overpayments would result.
