Short Statement: Due to the changes in the total number of wireline and wireless telecommunications carriers as a result of changes and trends in the telecommunications marketplace, the Commission has re-evaluated its previous burdens associated with this information collection and notes the following adjustments in associated burdens and costs described herein: The number of respondents decreased -37 telecommunications carriers from the prior total of 4,484 wireline and wireless telecommunications carriers to the current total of 4,447 wireline and wireless telecommunications carriers; the number of annual responses increased by +609, 36,090 to 36,699 responses; and the annual burden hours increased by +55,731 from 2,074,174 to 2,129,905 hours. There are no program changes. With this submission, the Commission used data from FCC Form 499-A filings to reexamine and reevaluate the data in this supporting statement.
