Abstract: This report collects information from mortgage lenders on applications for, and originations and purchases of, mortgage and home improvement loans. State member banks (SMBs), subsidiaries of SMBs and bank holding companies, U.S. branches and agencies of foreign banks (other than federal branches, federal agencies and insured state branches of foreign banks), commercial lending companies owned or controlled by foreign banks, and Edge and agreement corporations are required to use the report as a running log throughout the calendar year and to send it to the Federal Reserve by March 1 of the following calendar year.
