Abstract: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Cemetery Administration (NCA) proposes to establish VA regulations to implement new statutory authority for NCA to provide reimbursement for the purchase of caskets and urns for the interment of the remains of Veterans without next of kin (NOK) and sufficient resource available for burial.
