Abstract: Data are collected on a sample of households receiving HUD housing assistance subsidies. These households are interviewed and their incomes verified to determine if subsidies are correctly calculated. The study identifies the costs and types of errors. The results are used to target corrective actions and measure the impact of past corrective actions.
