Abstract: CDC provides funding to 37 Prevention Research Centers which are housed within schools of public health, medicine or osteopathy. PRCs conduct outcomes-oriented health promotion and disease prevention research on a broad range of topics using a multi-disciplinary and community-based approach. CDC plans to continue collecting information from PRCs to monitor progress and activities.

In addition, the burden per response for the interview instrument will decrease from one hour to 30 minutes. The net annualized reduction is 55 hours.
