About three weeks ago, we wrote seeking information about your activities and preferences
for saltwater sportfishing. As of today, we have not yet received your completed
questionnaire. If you have already returned your questionnaire, thank you for your
cooperation. In the event that your questionnaire has been misplaced, a replacement is
enclosed.
The purpose of this study is to improve fishery management by providing a more complete
picture of angler preferences and activities. NOAA Fisheries and the Gulf States Marine
Fisheries Commission are conducting this study because we believe that fishery policies
should reflect the preferences and opinions of anglers.
We are writing again because each questionnaire is extremely important to the overall study.
Only a select number of anglers were chosen for the study so your participation ensures that
the results are truly representative of the opinions, preferences, and activities of all anglers.
We also want to reassure you that your response to this study is voluntary and any responses
you give us are confidential.
