Abstract: The Environmental Protection Agency and the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration are jointly proposing Light-Duty Vehicle Greenhouse Gas Emission Standards and Corporate Average Fuel Economy Standards changes designed to decrease emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) for model year (MY) 2017 to 2025 light duty vehicles (LDVs). This is an extension of the national GHG program rulemaking recently completed for MY 2012 to 2016 (75 FR 25324, May 7, 2010). This ICR deals with EPA's portion of the proposed rule, which concerns EPA's motor vehicle certification and in-use testing programs, covered by the ICR 0783 series.
