In order to allow determination of the study areas that are entitled to an expense adjustment, and the wire centers that are entitled to high-cost universal service support, each incumbent local exchange carrer must provide certain data to the National Exchange Carrier Association annually and/or quarterly. Local telphone companies who want to partipate in the Federal universal service support program must make certain informational showings to demonstrate eligibility.
The Commission is reporting a 1,774 adjusted increase in the number of responses and a 12,865 hour increase in the total annual burden. This adjustment is due to an increase in respondents/responses.
