In order to implement a two-pronged plan to eliminate interference to public safety communications, the Commission requires information necessary to facilitate the relocation of public safety systems onto the new NPSPAC portion of the 800 MHz band and to facilitate the exchange of information between public safety entities and commercial entities to resolve interference incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
The burden has changed due to reestimates and due to the incorporation of the information collection previously approved under OMB Control Number 3060-1114 into this collection. The Commission will request discontinuance of 3060-1114 upon approval of this revised collection.
