40 CFR part 63, subpart M, applies to owners and operators of each perchloroethylene (PCE) dry cleaning facility. The information gathered is needed to determine which facilities are subject to the regulation and whether they are in compliance with the standards. Owners/operators are required to submit one-time only notification and compliance status report. All facilities must maintain yearly PCE consumption records, and implement a leak detection and repair program.
