Abstract: This collection describes the steps involved and the procedure for: evaluating scales prior to NMFS approval for use, inspecting and testing approved scales onboard vessels, recordkeeping and audit trails, coordinating with onboard and onshore observes, and providing NMFS with a catch monitoring plan for crab, offshore groundfish, and inshore groundfish. This action ads the Rockfish Pilot Program to this collecton. The Program was developed to improve the economic efficiency of the CGOA rockfish fisheries by establishing cooperatives to provide exclusive harvesting and processing privileges for a specific set of rockfish species ....
