Terms of Clearance: This ICR has been approved. When this ICR is resubmitted for renewal, EPA should update the burden estimates to reflect the final 8-hour ozone and PM2.5 designations. In addition, EPA should review the decision to keep separate this ICR and the DOT ICR on transportation conformity (OMB# 2132-0529), in order to determine whether it is reasonable to combine the two collections. Finally, EPA shall revisit the burden estimates when the conformity requirements for PM2.5 hot-spot analyses are finalized and, if appropriate, submit a change worksheet (OMB Form 83-C) consistent with OMB guidelines.
