Abstract: Pursuant to this Report and Order, satellite television providers are required to provide local-into-local signals of broadcast television stations, while electing for compulsory must-carry or retransmission consent status. On September 5, 2001, the Commission released an Order on Reconsideration, FCC 01-249, CS Docket No. 00-96, that denied petitions for reconsideration.
