Abstract: Owners or operators of all affected facilities subject to NSPS must submit initial notifications, performance tests results, and periodic reports. Owners or operators are also required to main- tain records of the occurrence and duration of any startup, shut- down, or malfunction in the operation of an affected facility, or any period during which the monitoring system is inoperative. These notifications, reports, and records are essential and en- able the Agency to: (1) identify the sources subject to the stadard; (2) ensure initial compliance with emission limits; and (3) verify continuous compliance with the standard.
