Terms of Clearance: In future submissions to OMB, Census agrees to expand the reporting of the response rates beyond only reporting the response rate based on the dollar volume basis. Abstract: The Annual Trade Survey provides the only continual authoritative measure of annual wholesale sales, purchases, and year-end inventories. The expansion to this survey represent firms primarily engaged in selling goods manufactured by this company in the United States. The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) will use this information to estimate the gross national product (GDP). The manufacturer sales branches and offices will report sales, inventory, and operating expenses.
