Terms of Clearance: In describing the results of the study, CDC will clearly acknowledge the limitations of the data including the fact that the study collected data from a single school district. Since the study does not employ a statistical sampling methodology to create a representative sample, the findings will not generate national or other estimates that may be generalized statistically to a large population.

Abstract: Violence is an important health problem, particularly among our youth. This study will consist of administering questionnaires to students in the 6th or 7th, 9th and 12th grade to assess the overlap between different types of violence behavior and to determine whether different types of violence share common risk factors.
