Abstract: The Refugee State of Origin Report identifies the number of secondary migrants into each State from the refugee's State of initial resetlement. Each State identifies social security numbers issued in another State. These totals reflect in-migration into that State. From examination of the ORR-11s of other Sttes, ORR is able to determine the out-migration into other States. Both in-migration and out-migration are added to derive the total gain or loss for each State. In this matter, ORR is able to adjust refugee arrival totals for secondary migration.
