Abstract: 10 CFR 75 establishes a system of nuclear material accounting and control to implement the safeguards agreement between the US and the IAEA. Previously, licensees were required to file a semi- annual physical inventory report. The proposed rule, "Material Control and Accounting Amendments," will change this to an annual requirement for most licensees.
