Abstract: RPE funds have been in place since 1996; however, how the funds are allocated and utilized in each state and territory and what their technical assistance and training needs are have not been sysematically and comprehensively assessed. This assessment will enhance CDC's knowledge of the allocation and uses of the RPE grants and will improve administration of the grant program.
