Abstract: This study will examine the effects of a daytime drama storyline exposure on HIV stigma by re-interviewing a subsample of adults initially interviewed about HIV stigma in the summer of 2000. Respondents will be screened for regular exposure to the daytime drama with an HIV storyline or other daytime dramas with an HIV storyline airing on different networks. Changes in HIV stigma from pre to post will be examined against a number of independent variables.
