Abstract: The goal of the ACT Against Violence Training is to make violence prevention a central and ongoing part of a community's violence prevention efforts. The ACT program was developed by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) with assistance from child-development and violence-prevention experts.
