Abstract: The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision is developing new regulatory capital standards for internationally active banks. The new standards will take into account advances and innovations financial instruments and risk measurement practices. The survey will gather information about each participants risk profile so the committee can modify and calibrate new rules.
