Abstract: 10 CFR 74 contains mandatory recordkeeping and reporting require- ments for material control and accounting of special nuclear material (SNM) and specific performance-based regulations for licensees authorized to posses and use strategic SNM or possess, use, or produce SNM of low strategic significance. This informa- tion is used to make licensing and regulatory decisions and to satisfy U.S. obligations to IAEA.
