Abstract: Randomly selected adults in the U.S. will be interviewed by telephone about their knowledge, perceptions, attitudes, and practices related to two FDA-regulated products-dietary supplements and food. The information will help the agency ensure proper performance of its functions by (1) enhancing the agency's understanding of consumer knowlege, perceptions, attitudes, and practices, (2) enriching deliberations of the agency's regulatory and educational initiatives, and (3) helping the agency track trends in consumer knowledge, perceptions, attitudes, and practices.
