Abstract: This survey is being revised to address programmatic changes under a proposed rule to implement Amendment 14 to the Fishery Management Plan for the Coastal Migratory Pelagic Resources of the Gulf of Mexico and South Atlantic (Amendment 14) and Amendment 20 to the Fishery Management Plan for the Reef Fish Resources of the Gulf of Mexico (Amendment 20). The proposed rule would establish mandatory responses to voluntary charter vessel/ headboart telephone interviews for vessels fishing in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) for Gulf of Mexico reef fish, or Gulf of Mexico coastal migratory pelagics.
