Abstract: Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act authorizes the Secretary, DHHS, to make and enforce regulatoins necessary to prevent the introduction, transmission, or spread of communicable diseases from foreign countries into the United States. The legislation and existing regulations that govern quarantine activities require some recordkeeping and reporting activities. The purpose of this collection is to fulfill the legislative mandates of the recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
